Knoxville 3 Month Milestone Session at Highlight Studio

This Valentine’s themed 3 month milestone session was so special and sweet. I’ve known LeaAnna since 2024 and I was so excited when she reached out to say she was expecting and book me to document her little one’s first year. I love when my clients begin to become friends and that’s absolutely been the case with LeaAnna.

I’ve absolutely adored watching her and Michael step into parenthood while documenting their newborn and maternity sessions. This February it was time to capture little Martin’s 3 Month Milestone.

We decided to lean into the Valentine’s Day theme and chose Highlight Studio in Fountain City for our 3 month milestone session location. They were kind enough to leave the Valentine’s set up until February 15th for us.

Planning the 3 Month Milestone Session

As LeaAnna and I were planning the session, she sent me Martin’s little sweatshirt (which came with red and white striped pants she didn’t love) and the pink sweater she ultimately wore, imagining it with a pair of denim for her, as inspiration.

I put together the following style guide which she absolutely loved and followed to a tee! It was so fun to see it come to life in her photos.

One Sleepy Baby

You might not know it from the photos, but poor little Martin was in the midst of teething and had rejected his pre-photo session nap. We may not have had a ton of giggles and smiles, but we definitely got a lot of sweet interactions.

By the end of the session, Martin had passed out on mommy. We took that opportunity to snuggle in close and soak in the moment.
