Kodak Fall Maternity Session at Seven Islands State Birding Park

When LeaAnna reached out about booking a Knoxville maternity session (and a bump to baby experience), I was so excited for her and Michael. I’d photographed her before and we’d gotten along so well. I was also thrilled to get to meet her husband after hearing so much about him.

Michael is exactly as she portrayed him and their mutual adoration and respect is evident and heartwarming. I know they will be amazing parents.

We chose Seven Islands State Birding Park in Kodak, TN as the location for their maternity portraits because they often go hiking as a couple. We worked together to figure out what Michael should wear to complement the dresses LeaAnna had chosen.

We met at the boat dock for the first half of their session and then did a quick outfit change and moved to the main entrance to finish up their session right as the sun set over the ridge.
